I think you have to rotate the starter housing 180 degrees to correct that. Someone probably took it apart and then reassembled it incorrectly.

I just had mine laser welded and it already had the wet mod from the factory. It also had the bearing in case for the starter shaft. It works like a champ.

Nope, it was 2012 to 2017. The 2010 and 2011 were the B frames with an aluminum subframe. Then in 2012 they scraped the B frame for a perimeter frame( like a kx frame) but it was heavy so they used the plastic subframe to save weight. I have a 2011 EC 300 with the B frame and aluminum subframe...
