Mine is at 2-1/2 now and it is great. Maybe thats the setting he likes after their head mod? I have great torque and smooth power at 2.5 turns out.

Spoke with RK TEC and he told me to set the pv at 2-5/8 to 2-3/4 turns out. He also said the stock head is a horrible design. I'm sending mine in Monday.

I had a guy get close enough behind me for a bit last weekend. He said he could see gas leaking out of my overflow hoses on a downhill. That tells me the float is at a incorrect level. Pulled it off and sure enough its too high. I was using a good deal of gas before. I'll see how it does now.

Who are you getting to cut the head? It's not bad if you start at 600 and done at 900.at the latest.

So far it's still fat but it's also hot as hell. Tried 175mj NEDJ 3rd clip and 42 pilot. Still fat off the bottom, clean on the mid but seemed a little loaded up to pull the main at first, then cleaned out. Needle feels good though. Plug dry but dark. Dropped pilot to 40 and main to 172...

Ran this jetting today and its still fat on the bottom. Took A/S out to 2 turns, still lethargic right off the bottom but pulls through the lower mid up to the top really well. Im going to throw in a 40 and see how it does.

That ktm part can screw anything up.

I put the N3CH in also with a 42 pilot and a 178 main. Hope to test it this weekend. Seemed to really clean up around the house.

I'd replace the spark plug wire. Sounds like its opening up and losing connection.

I just installed a N3CH 2nd clip, 178 main, and 42 pilot. AS 1.5 , 2500' and 70 to 90 degrees. It was 106 degs when i tried it this afternoon. Too hot to ride. Ill try it again tomorrow morning and get a plug reading.

I think you're right. Im open to suggestions.
