Dont know about 07, but in 05 MC had 50mm forks.

The way i read that they were not riding is because of layoffs. They dont want to spend money racing while they say they have to layoff for $$ reasons.

The restrictor plate is not necassary.

Possibly adjusted valves too tight. Also you can remove decompressor and take .005 off so that it doesnt hold the valve open as much when cranking which will make it start easier when cold.

I spent 11 months in Prescott. There is riding close by. Also Wickenburg is near as well as Flag.

There is an adjustment on the throttle body that is accessed from the back of it.

Depends on the type of race. Here in the desert the big 4stroke has some advantages. I have raced 125, 200, 250, 500 2st and 450 4st. My 450 Tracks through the rocks better than the 2st. The best results i have ever had have been on the 2 smallest bikes but i was younger then.
