Thanks for the info Jacob. I applied heat with it in the vice & slowly applied pressure, let off, pressure again till it was back to normal. Went out for a ride & all was good I also ordered on of those replacements you linked just incase. Might be a little weaker than before. 👍

I bent my gear shifter last night. Has anyone had success bending these back? I was going to put some heat to it & give it a whack on the anvil but I'm not sure that's the best way to go about it. If it does break does anyone know if a shifter from another brand will fit that I can source...

I pulled the carb and cleaned it again. The same jet was plugged. All back together now and running great. No inline filter because I didn't have one. Hopefully going out tomorrow so my fingers are crossed. Thanks for the advice

I have a 20' bumper pull toy hauler with the twin queens in the back. To get the queens down you have to take down the table & fold down the benches. This is a hassle every evening and morning. Extra length would help this alot. If i were to do it over again i would go 5th wheel all the way...

After changing the fluids draining the old gas and going for a quick rip around the yard yesterday it seems the petcock fuel on/off/reserve is leaking a bit. Best just to order a replacement or is there a quick fix for this? Also should I go riding if it is leaking a bit?

It was an 89 cr250r. I loved that bike, the smell and the sound.

New to me 2011 300ec. I'm pretty pumped. Haven't rode a dirt bike since 2004ish.
