I have plated the last two bikes here in Utah as it is quite easy (2 stroke and 4 stroke). It has been very useful having the plate in linking together trails.

For what it's worth I have a 2013 300e and tried a number of things that did not work. The Sicass kit is not plug and play for a 2013 (at least the 300). The 2013 300 harness is a stripped down version and does not have plug and play connectivity with the gas gas indicators, horn, or anything...

Neil, you provided the guidance I needed! Turns out my grounding of the basic flasher was my problem. I now have flashing lights. Your pic helped as well. Thank you for the help. When I get some more time I will outline all I used in case someone else wants to do this.

my 2013 300 estart does not have a harness with the additional connectors for turn signals (does have plate light connector though) so ou may need a different harness as well
