    Thanks Eric, Nice to know we can go a long time between top end rebuilds. I have an 2003 with about 20 hours on it, (I know, have to ride more)So i should be good till 2012 ,Ha ha

    treesmacker thanks , I have the black knob, so its WP. Bergerhag, went to the web page and Gas Gas listed two forks for that year, thats what confused me. Speedymanic thanks ,they are grey. Confirms what Treesmacker said. I appreciate the help guys.

    On my new to me 2003 EC 300 I'd like to know how you tell which forks the bike comes with , WP or Marzochi (sp) ? I think the're WP as I have measured them and they seem to be 43 MM where the Marzochi (sp) are supposed to measure 45 MM. Are there any mfg. marking on the forks to tell which...

    Reassembled my bike-what part is this???

    I think its a washer for you fork protectors. there are 3 bolts on the bottom of each protector.

    Thanks EFF, i have the manual . The problem I'm having is the only screen i get on the speedo is the A 1-12 scrooling on the screen. I push the reset and mode buttons and nothing happens. i tried connecting the battery while holding different buttons and I get different modes but they disappear...
