I make my own tower pins. Just go to a machine shop that rebuilds car engines and get a used valve of the correct stem diameter. Stainless valves with chromed stems are best. Cut the head of the valve off and machine in necessary flats etc. and you have a pin.

My '04 Manual lists 1.5%. I have been using 50:1 Amsoil Dominator without issue. I just don't want to have different ratio gas than my cross country bike.

Gas Gas trials bikes use the shorty lever and it is a bolt on swap. I also cut mine down and welded an 'end' on it which I contoured with a file for my own preference and I prefer this 'homemade' lever to the trials one but they are very similar. I only use two fingers on the clutch.

I've read about some high tech kart engine prototypes. 2 strokes with fuel injection and no lube oil. Metallurgy has been advanced and coupled with composites so no lubrication is required. Helps with the emissions. This is the way of the future for the 2 stroke.

My '04 300 came with the plastic impeller. I recently upgraded to the LTR. Les was out of them but I was able to get one through Hall's Cycle.

Check that the float pivot pin/axle is not too loose. I have heard of carbs where the pivot becomes sloppy in the towers that support it. When this happens you get varying float heights.

Anybody got any experience with this product? I saw it advertised in a magazine. It claims big things regarding arm pump and fatigue. I have a tendency to hang on too tight thus, this product intrigues me. Is it too good to be true or does it work?

I have the Clark tank on my '04 EC300. Same problems as Eric K noted. I had to fab my own forward mount, the seat is difficult to install, and the shrouds stick out and occasionally grab your boots. I also got my tank used and have not noticed any yellowing. I do have a steering dampner...
