Good luck with that. You have a 12 year old discontinued bike and I bet that there arent 20 of them in North America. Most current GG dealers probably dont even know that GG even made that bike.
Its probably worth a call to GGNA direct and see if Mark Berg can help you out.
The assimilation is beginning. My GG dealer buddy just got a call from a KTM rep wanting to set up a meeting to discuss the transition of GG to a KTM Distributed brand. I wonder where this leaves the current GG NA staff?
The Magura clutch that comes on the Nambo/Cervantes appears to be the same clutch cylinder that Husaberg used on the 09-11 models. I am not sure what part you are in need of, but if you cant get it from GG I would try to look it up on a Berg parts fiche.
I dont think things are going well at GG. No GP or 200s? How about no bikes coming to Canada at all? The parts back order lists are getting longer and longer every day.
The bikes arent selling in Canada thats for sure. My local dealer says he gets 50 inquiries on Betas for every 1 GG...
I wouldnt buy it. They had a lot of issues and I can see parts being next to impossible to get as they get older. I am under the impression the new owners are not supporting the older 4 stroke parts any more.
From what I have been told, KTM is redirecting the EWC money to the Rally program.
IMO, the whole "Extreme/Hard Enduro" thing is where the spectators and sponsors are going. I bet EWC is gone in 3 years. There are only 50 riders entered in most rounds and no amateurs are allowed to ride...
