finally got around to using the gasgasman method .....
Took 22 minutes to get the shock out
that included fishing for the right size sockets and fighting with a balky exhuast pipe mount bolt and a few other time killers.
Took twenty minutes to get the shock mounted up, swing arm ready for the...

I just did this on my 11 250 I just replaced the spring but I'd get all three parts if yours is an 07 .... and don't for get to put the washer on the kick starter shaft before you tighten the last bolt on the side case cover and notice a washer in the corner of the parts bin ....
so I have to replace this thing on my 11 250 ....
I won't get into why this is still an issue .....
my question is I have to pull the clutch basket
I don't have a clutch basket tool, or air gun, or welder to make my own tool ....
can I use a piston stop to keep things from moving
or do I have to...
