Big bore two stroke, something from a 380 to a 500, keep it light . Refine the manual, take a note from Husquvarna and KTM's jetting charts ,clean up the english too. Get rid of all the allen key fasteners like on the triple clamps and oil plugs. Better stock handle bars and tires. And finally...

So has anyone in tried this with a FMF Gnarly pipe? There seems to be a mixed review on this item.

Just got a JD Jet kit today, I'll play with that for now. I can see this will be a trial and error arguous process, I thought there would be some pilots and some sort of jetting chart with the kit, guess not. But I should have it dialed in in a couple of rides so that's good news.:)

I have a new 2009 ec 300 with stock jetting and I'm wondering what jetting would anyone recommend for 2150 feet altitude. Down the road I might get a JD carb kit but for now I'll just use my brass from home. Where should I start? Needle, main, or pilot? Any input would be appreciated.

well, i was able to get mine on my '09 ec300 today quite easily, but i must admit the bike is brand new. i'm guessing that your expansion chamber mounts are out of adjustment and the rads are tweeked, even if just a little bit, this is my guess on the grief. hope the work out for you, once on...

cdn280 mine says GasGasEC08 stamped on it. From what I've been told you have to cut it open and remove the guts. Price it out, a new FMF Gnarly is $229 on their site. wence I'm keeping the headlight/tailight on my bike because the Forestry Service is starting to enforce Headlight/tailight...
