increased float height, therefore decreased fuel height in bottom of carb...this is why I'm thinking now not quite enough in bowl when ticking over...poss ???

Have adjusted My float bowl, now tickover is eratic, have I adjusted it too far, or is this a coincidence ??:confused:

Cheers, needle is standard, not sure which one, only other thing I have done is adjust float bowls, maybe adjusted too much, would that have a bearing ??:confused:

Have a 2005 ec300 in uk...have fitted a switch to my bars connected to the wires from the cdi unit...which I am told adjusts the powercurve.. Q. Have has it on the bike now for about a 12month, but cant seem to see any difference..Tested switch and one position current flows, the other position...

Hi, Im in Wales too...Newport, South Wales...what does carb icing feel like ?? went out yesterday, mine was ok in cold but played up a lot after going through water..would not tick over, felt very choked up and splutery but would clear after a few 5 minutes... air box was clear, not sure if was...

Just bought... Hi, Im in Sunny South Wales...Haway the Celts !!.. my 05 300ec gear oil is 900ml. I just got some Castrol 0w30 synthetic...not sure how this is going to go, havent put it in yet... but I would imagine that your capacity would be the same as mine at least... so try 900ml....I got...
