    Sherco

Sled's however have and exposed primary clutch (essentially their flywheel) that is easy to wrap a rope around to start the sled. I had an 08 BRP 800 sled and had to start it once with the rope that was included in the tool kit for just this reason as my recoil f@#d up. It was surprising at how...

    Bar height: standing vs sitting?

I think its unfair to compare a bar set-up for motocross type riding to that of off-road. In moto a lower set-up would help to improve a riders attack position with the head lower and your back at a flatter angle. An off-road rider, even a fast pro level one spends more time on the bike and thus...

    2013 Models

I just finished the Canadian National 2-day enduro in Vernon and couldn't help but notice that there were roughly 25 GG bikes in a field of almost 150. Seems as though the bikes are selling well up here on this side of the border. I couldn't help but notice that the trails were becoming...

Love your Pivot Pegs but hate the maintanence?

Good idea, I'd already added a nipple to my kickstarter but I can see them going into the pegs as well. I've been religious about greasing mine, and they still wore out in one season.

    Stolen Husky

Wow that sucks. I lost an 96 KTM 250 EXC plated in 08 to the same scum of the earth. STolen in broad daylight under a security camera with a disc lock on and chained to a bike rack. Even with footage of the thief and the theft, I never got my bike back. Lets hope things work out better for...

Rekluse...does it make you less of a rider?

My buddy and I both have 11' 300's but he recently installed a recluse in his. We traded bikes the other day for a half an hour and I really didn't care much for his recluse. I don't think it was worth the dollars and have never really had much trouble with stalling before. I used to ride AA but...

    2012 Doo-Dad List

For radiator guards, I would put these up against any guard out there. Solid billet and thicker than the competition. Sledgehammer Manufacturing makes them. They sure look nice and Heavy Duty. I'd worry cooling with those though. Looks like they'd plug up with mud pretty easy.

    Cervantes 450f Replica

Personally, not wanting a 450F is due entirely to the fact that they are too much bike, are heavy and are way too fatiguing too ride for several hours. All makes. I'm sure the GG 450 is a great engine, but likely its still a heavy bike thats hard too hang on too after 3+ hours. My desire for a...

    Cervantes 450f Replica

Having owned a couple of 450F's and a 250F, I don't think I could ever bring myself to own one again. Having said that, a 350F like KTM's does intrigue me and I think that's the ideal size for an offroad bike. I'd like to see some of the reliability back in the four strokes though before I'd buy...

Would you buy another Gas Gas?

The original reason for I bought a gasser is due to the price difference vs a KTM. I managed to get a heck of a deal, 2K less than a katoom and that sold me on the bike. Having said this, I've never been so dissapointed in a front fork as I am with my GG. It is hands down the worst component on...

    2012 Accessories?

Your garage looks to be a lot like mine, complete with the little one hiding out behind the bike. The tubing for the spokes is a great idea, would prolly last a lot longer than anodizing anyway with all the abuse they see.

    2012 Accessories?

Looks gorgeous. Did you pull all the spokes and get them anodized? Don't know if I've ever seen that done before. Looks sharp.

    2012 footpegs

I have the pivot pegs on my 11' and love them. I reversed the pin to lower them aswell as installed a tall seat and bar risers. Makes for a roomy feeling bike that fits me like a glove. I'm 6'4" 215lb in street clothes.

Marzocchi 45 T3 hardcoat follow up

Just got my damper rods back from getting them hardcoated as well. Seems as though Marzocchi cheaped out on this. I haven't ridden the bike since and won't be able to for a few months yet, but I'm glad to hear that the coating is holding up for yourself. Time will tell but it seemed quite...
