Thanks. I have since had a go and i think its now within tolerance. The nipples are a bit of a mash as many were stuck fast, even with some plus gas but hope itll satify the tester. Ill get it rebuilt in the coming months if it passes.

Hi all, I had some play i my rear wheel so fitted some new bearings which popped in and out with just a small tap, hardly any force at all, and i still have play in the wheel once on and tightened up! I fitted an 'all balls' bearing kit. Do you think the bearings are too loose maybe? wheel...

Hi all, After having bought a bit of a lemon - It turns out the rads were near empty, blew a head gasket, white smoke, jug off and saw scores, so thats off being plated, new rads, new piston kit...! :mad: So, while that's being sorted im giving the bike a full once over! Full swingarm/rocker...

As much as i want to sling a new piston in and hope it works so i can get out quicker, i think its wise to send it off for plating so i get a trouble free winter (with any luck!) Thanks all for your advice.

It does clean up a bjt but thats mostly scoring i think. Attached another picture which i think shows it better. Im wondering if i can get away without making it worse until next top end time...
