That happened to me also, found the restriction when taking of the air filter. It really spoils the power when wot :D

For GP300 -18, I switched from stock head to S3 and high comp insert (the medium one that came with the head). Stock head had wayyy too much compression. Pinged every time I closed the throttle. S3 head made it a lot smoother to ride with nice fuel economy.

It can be the starter motor. My story short: - The started motor died on me after 5 hours. Just barely made the engine turn with compressions, but could turn the engine without plug just like your's does. - Changed all the cables (warranty), no help - Renewed two batteries (one in warranty...

I?ve never been able to put even 800 ml new oil in during oil change without over filling the gearbox. So next time I?ll stop at 700 ml and check the level. I guess the remaining 200 ml just sits in there hiding :D

I have to go here with martg. Had all sorts of problems with starter, except the free wheeling. Changed batteries, wirings etc. Nothing helped. New starter from demo bike - BANG! Now the bike cranks and starts like a hurricane :) The problem seems to be that there really are multiple issues...

No need to pull any covers. Just remove the two screws, remove the starter cover and pull back. I had the same problem with my bike and my 2 cents goes to the starter. Video with the original starter (the whining noise doesn?t sound so well, but it?s there)...

It was my bike that DaveHuge referred to earlier. The nut wasn't too tight but tight anyway when I opened it (felt like 40 Nm). The Flywheel had a spur in the recess for the Woodruff key, which I had to remove to make it fit better on the cone. Don't know if it was there in the beginning or if...

Hi I guess it might be the power feed to the ECU unit. If it is the connector "O" that you a referring to, then it connects to the connector "C". And in the previous page there should be a diagram showing the connector "C" being the power feed to the ECU circuit...

Went for a ride today. Nice winter day, -10 Celcius and around 20 - 30 cm of powder snow. Had a lot of fun, and a snow cooled bike (the front wheel kicked the engine and radiator full of snow). After getting home spend some time wondering and searching info on snow trax for GG. You can find a...
