where can i find a cheap set of handguards?

dank, http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/home.do has several @ the $30 range. i have not used any myself but there are reviews on the items page that rate them as good. personally i use EE guards and they are tuff and have saved my controls and knuckles several times, with no damage. i would say...

    springs

i agee with stainless, 5.2 was stock on my bike. i now run a 5.4 my weight is 200 lbs / 91kg. With such a heavy shock spring i would be concerned with the weight of the fork springs also. the bike will handle like crap if the balance is not correct front to rear.

60 seems a little heavy to me, but only your "SAG" knows for sure;) check out the link, http://www.harrymoto.com/MX/RaceSag/set_your_race_sag.htm i also agree with others on this site that our bike work better with < 10mm preload and around 120mm SAG on the rear.:)

    Marzocchi Shiver 45 fork springs

just another note: if your going to revalve read the post by pobit http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=700&highlight=pobit it a real headstart and making the rebound stiffer really help my forks.:) i also tried several different WT# fluids, settled on synthetic ATF set @ 120mm.

    EC300 year differences

Check out the sticky in the Electrical & Wiring section of the forum "which ignition do i have" good info with pix. it will let you know which flywheel/stator combo you have by the exit location of your wiring. The cover is easy to remove and would be a good time to inspect and clean if needed.
