    Speedo on EC300 07’

Larsa yes you need to connect the brown and white wire to a small 9 volt battery to maintain the time when the motor is off. I was told by the dealer the RMP meter is disconnected under the fuel tank somewhere when delivered ? I havn't persued this one as I don't have time to look at the...

    Keihin Carb

I don't really think it is a GasGas thing I remember Suzuki RMX was a bit of a pain to jet correctly. From memory the carb has some issue with choke circuit and airscrew you have to be careful not to overtighten air screw or you can have bleedover problems. From what I have seen most GasGas bike...

    07 Seat Mod

Just thought some of you may be interested in my seat modification to my 07 ec 300 seat. It involves replacing the screw tha holds the seat on with a half turn clip which means no tools to replace the air filter and much quicker. You have to remove the exsisting retaining nut and bracket from...

06 300EC first ride impressions on 1st and 2nd gear.

Colin I'm in Cairns so yes we do have more humidity than Perth mainly riding sea level to 1000ft above. One thing I did notice just by putting the LTR needle in the bottom end cleaned up even with the standard jetting left in place. Must be something to do with the taper of the needle. Good luck...

06 300EC first ride impressions on 1st and 2nd gear.

Colin I'm in Aus. too and my 07 ec300 runs 42 pilot and 170 main with an LTR needle centre clip running BP 98 ron with 40-1 oil mix. Most of the GGs in this area run similar jetting sometimes going to a 40 pilot if running the standard N1EF needle. Just as you discribe my bike also ran pretty...

    Question about 07 seat

Roscoe you can lift the bike from the seat but I wouldn't advise it if the bike was stuck in mud. I normally lift the bike by reaching under the gaurd because as you point out the seat is only held by a single bolt and the edge does pivot on it when you lift. I have also replaced the single...
