Might sound daft but have you continuity tests for a broke wire?

Mine died and it blew more headlight bulbs than you could shake a stick at. I couldn't find genuine in the uk so i got one of trailtech. http://trailtech.net/regulator.html Ordered it direct from trailtech. Works a treat, lights are a lot more stable than before.

It's a wiseco s14ps... according to several websites it's a cr250 standard piston

Got some strange sizes here... i've measured the cylinder & piston with my vernier and me mates double checked with his vernier. The cylinder is 66.11mm and the piston is 65.89.... 300 engine possibly?

i've checked and double checked. The letter stamp isn't on there. Had a thought before, the earliest workshop manual i can find is '03 does that use the same engine as the '98?

The cage around my reeds broke so i've decided it's time for a frsh top end. I cant find a workshop manual for mine (ec250 '98) so i've got a few questions. How does the powervalve come out? I've removed part of it out of the left hand side of the engine, but i cant seem to get it to come out of...

There's only the parts diagram one on there for my gas gas. I'll give 10w30 a try.

Where do i fill the gear oil on my ec 250? I can't see a filler cap. And will normal gear oil be ok for it?

Got an adjustable trailtech one in the end. Does anybody know where i can get a fuel tap and a new float needle for the carb? Online preferably, i need to get the bike running and sold but i haven't got the time to go and pick parts up. I managed to snap the fuel tap off and ever since i did...

I'm in desperate need of a voltage regulator for my ec250 1998. Gasgas uk aren't open and no where around me has one in stock. I don't suppose anybody on here has one i can buy? Or knows somewhere online i can order one?

bloody lights are dead now :@ no power going to either light. Took the stator cover off, all looks to be well, no sign of any burning. Although there was oil in the cover, should there be oil inside there? my mate seems to think not. After the wire's come out of the stator where do they go...

ah now that is a good idea :D I was just trying to hold it back myself, i'll give it a try hooking it into the shock. ta, Mark EDIT: that worked grand ta :D found my problem. fecking HT lead wasn't screwed in :@ took the coil off to measure it to order a new one and the ht lead fell off.

It would appear it's the kill switch causing the problems, i had no spark again this morning. So i took the switches apart and bent the kill switch tab out and it sparked after i did this. I've whipped the carb out to give it a clean while i was at it. God what a bal ache is it to get out and...
