Kicked off my rebuild today had a head gasket leak piston isnt bad but its getting replaced, got a weisco coming 275$ yikes!!! That was just for piston I'll have pics soon

Are you just doing the top end? That sounds high on the piston. Does that price include gaskets?

$275 for just the piston? You paid to much! North Tahoe motorsports has the entire kit, Vertex piston, rings, and gaskets(cylinder, head and PV) for $229.

Live and learn! I'm big on supporting local buisness I'd have rather had a vertex instead of a weisco i also got a full bore front tire and a MX 51 rear

Shultz was my second guess lol. I'm not sure if we've met. We're not far so our paths could have crossed for sure.

Not recently but I think I will be hitting a couple this year if my exercise plan works out and I get my right arm (bicep surgery last year) back in shape and recover some stamina.

Waiting on a wrist pin bearing and forks to be complete

Heres an update, new top end is installed also rebuilt water pump, found out i do not have an alloy impeller as i was told when i purchase bike i even have the packaging for it! Still waiting on forks and shock to be finished went through fcr suspension of pittsburgh for a full rebuild and revalve, also added 08 shrouds and front fender and new 04 red rear fender and new guts seat cover. Also added some pro taper woods hi bend bars new grips and enduro engineering shields mounted to my cycra pro bends here are some preview pics whatcha think?
