Hey, I recently bought my bike new and had problems when running it in due to the dealer leaving the transit plate in the airbox after pre delivery service. The mechanic, after telling me the plate should have been removed during the service told me that he adjusted the EFI because the bike seemed under powered at the time (probably due to restricted airflow). So, my question is....should the EFI be re-adjusted now that the airflow has changed and is there a way I can get a manual on how to change the required paramaters???? The Closest dealer to me is either 1100klm east or 2100klm south on the Sunny Coast.

The bike runs well but does tend to pop alot on de-acceleration and the owners manual says "contact your local Dealer".

Love the bike
Proud to be a GASGAS owner
Thankful for this website

Yes, it should be recalibrated.

No, a comptuer with GasGas software is required.

Good luck and have fun with your new ride.

Go to technoresearch.com On the right side of the website, you can download the user manual to see what the software is about.
They sell the software and cables for $200US it will buy the basic, you supply the laptop.
They have a dealer in OZ.
Four years ago I didn't have a laptop and purchased the basic software/PDA kit. Don't waste your money or time on that kit. Get a laptop, I have one now, and it works great.
My 03 pops on deacceleration if my trim is set less than +35.
Mail order is a great thing. :D
