07 EC250 Sachs shock

Does anybody know a good place to buy internal parts for the Sachs shock? My shock looses all it's dampening after about 10 minutes of riding, so I thought I'd take a shot at rebuilding it if I can get parts.

I believe there was a problem with some of the Sachs shocks doing this. Not sure what the fix was (defective piston assy??) but I do remember reading about the problem. You may have one of those shocks. Talk to your dealer or maybe some Husky dealers also to find the info and fix.

Here is a link with others having the same problem

Give Les Tinius at LT-Racing a call; He has had 100s of these apart...

If you decide not to do it yourself - His prices on rebuild or revalve are very reasonable. He has a great reputation with both the gasgas and husky crowd.

Thanks for the replies. I did talk to Les at LT-racing and he mentioned this being a known problem and the parts I need to fix it, I'm just having trouble finding a source for parts. If I can't find parts I'll end up sending it to him (probably better off), unfortunately shipping between Canada and the U.S. is pretty pricey now.

Well, I finally broke down and sent my shock to Les, and am I glad I did. Very reasonable prices, super quick service, and the shock works amazing!:D
Now if anyone has some inside tips on shipping between Canada and the U.S. that's a thread I'd watch like a hawk.

I went to change my shock fluid and noticed that the oil was bleeding past the rez piston, so I switched to a bladder.

Where did you source the bladder? Is it common with something off a higher volume (eg KYB or Showa) shock?

I got the parts thru the U.S. KYB distrubitor or you can call Bill at C cycle suspension:

I think they are the same parts off a older model kx 250 shock

KYB Rez cap part # 120114600401
