07 marzocchi fork question

Hey Guys,
I have an 07 gg ec300 with marzocchi forks.
Was riding the other day and half way through the day the fork went soft....real soft. I played around with clickers and made do but when I got home I noticed the bottom nut that the comp adjuster is in turned when I turned the adjuster .
What effect will this have and has anyone got a detailed diagram of the forks?
I am sure I have seen it on here but cannot find it.
