12'

No problems. The closed top pivot and oring (like Yamaha) make a big difference. What will likely fail(rust out) are the brake pedal bearings. The seals are tiny and mine were damaged from install at the factory. Pop them out and replace with orings.

As I understand it, there was a vendor change right about the time we got the 2011 Nambos (May 2011). I broke mine on my '11 Nambo after a few kicks then broke my son's after three kicks. I sent a bunch of pics to the factory and they jumped on it pretty quick and made some changes to strenghten them. I talked to a customer last week who had broken one on a '12 but he said his looked like it had some contamination in the aluminum where it broke. We warrantied it, of course. That is the only kick starter problem I have heard since we got '12s and '13s. My '12 has quite a bit of time on it without a problem.

Chad's just excited because his 2012 is set to arrive Wednesday from Dearborn and he can't even sleep :D:D:D

You should see the dark circles under my eyes!
I have to take an Ambien every night just to sleep. Then every night my wife has to come down to the garage and put me back in bed. LOL

No joke! I took an entire ambien once and my wife found me in the garage working on my old KX250 talking to someone in a British accent. Funny thing I re-built my entire clutch without even remembering it....and it worked perfect!

Off topic, but a funny story.

"...my wife found me in the garage working on my old KX250 talking to someone in a British accent..."

Do they cover that (picking up a foreign accent with a total black out) in the disclaimer?:)
