1999 ec 250

I'm not affiliated with this bike but the seller started at $1800, then went to $1250 and is now taking offers. It looks clean and I am mildly interested but am kicking myself for not picking up a yellow 200 that was for sale locally last summer. Maybe someone here can enjoy this bike? are the 99's anything special? If I knew for sure it was counter balanced it might be more intriguing.

1999 Gas Gas EC250 "SUPER FAST BIKE" has recent top and bottom end rebuild. Renthal bars, Ohlins suspension, FMF gold series gnarly pipe, FMF Turbine Core 2 exhaust pipe, and Brembo brakes with hydraulic clutch. Willing to consider a trade for 450 or 500 four stroke. Other than counter balance motor, 50mm Zoke forks, pretty standard.

The seat is a 98 so maybe the rest of it is! Then it would definitely be a counterbalanced engine. 50mm zokes were on the mc bikes werent they. My 99 EC had 45 zokes.
