This used to be my bike. I sold it to my buddy's son when he wanted to get into offroad riding a couple of years ago. He is selling to help fund the purchase a new bike. I am posting his CL ad here with the hopes that it stays in the hands of someone that appreciates the GG brand and not some yeeha that will rattle can black it!
Since he is short on words and info in his add, I'll elaborate on the condition of the bike.
Last year I went through the engine for him as preventative maintenance, new crank bearings-engine seals-piston/rings. Jug was in excellent shape, ring gap was uniform throughout the stroke, Rod big end within spec. I replaced the fork seals and bushings as well as the linkage/swingarm bearings and seals.
The WP forks were re-valved by Hyperformance [Mark Klien] for me several years ago for Vet "B" class East coast woods/Hare Scrambles. The Ohlins shock was revalved before I bought the bike [I believe it was Factory Connection] and worked well so I left it alone. Bike is sprung for a 180-190lb Vet "B" rider. The last time I rode the bike in the woods before selling it, I was at 210/15lbs and had no complaints with the suspension.
The shrouds and fender are '07 year model, airbox an side panels are '01[not the original "pink red" type].
I can put eyeball/hands on the bike if someone has questions. It is located in my neighborhood.
