2002 EC/XC300 shopping list

Since every time that I turn a bolt I discover a new "issue," I figured I would lessen the clutter and just have a single thread to update with needed parts.

[rant] Don't you hate when a seller is not just disingenuous, but a straight up, bald faced liar? "It has a fresh top end, no more than 10 hours on it." "The shock adjustment is a little off, probably just needs a refresh." "Just a couple of cosmetic fixes and you will be ready to ride!" Well, after buying the bike for $1300 and spending that much in just parts and (a little) labor, I can honestly say that the person lied to me to off load this piece of junk. At least the frame is straight, as far as I can tell. [/rant]

Anyway, I purchased a clutch cover yesterday from Eurodirt, nice people. Now I want to start a list of other things that I need:
Exhaust spigot
Wheel bearings, front and rear
Brake pads, front and rear
WP Fork seals
Magnetic oil drain plug w/washer

(space for more things that go wrong)

I have been working with Bob from North Tahoe Motorsports, great guy, very patient and willing to offer help. But, I am looking to broaden my search and see if anyone has spares on the shelf before I reach out to Bob again. I am trying to stop the bleeding so I can buy gas to ride and pay race fees, so any support you provide will be appreciated.

the wheel bearings are a fairly standard size, go to a local bearing shop, they should have em and are relativly cheap.
brake pads are the same as honda xr and cr bikes and can be gotten cheap off ebay.
also seen seals for the wp on ebay too.

Yeah, I see stuff around, but my philosophy is to support those who support the sport, such as riders and racers, then local shops, then specialty shops, and then move out of industry. Right now I'm looking to help someone clear their garage shelves, then I'll start trolling my local shops.

I just picked up some new pads, but I still need bearings. I'll send you a note when I get back home and can get you the bearing numbers.
