2002 era front axle

I bought some replacement forks off of a 2001 KTM XC250 and it appears that the right side end of the axle is smaller on the KTM than the GasGas. If anyone has a spare front axle from that era I would be interested in purchasing it. I should be able to get the KTM axle from the seller, but I want to have an ace in case I have to modify my axle (turn it down) and I revert to the original forks at some future juncture. I really don't want to have the lug bored to fit the GasGas axle, turning the axle is much simpler (and I'm pretty simple as it is).
