WELL LONG STORY. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE IT BUT, I DO NOT THINK HE IS GETTING THE OK FROM THE BOSS. MONEY TALKS AND WELL YOU KNOW B/S WALKS. ''FIRST COME FIRST SERVE''

I just bought a new 07 300 from Ron. He shipped it to me in Southern Indiana. It was a smooth, hassle free transaction for me. I was pleasanly suprised as it was my first long distance purchase of this magnitude. The bike arrived safely in a metal crate, taking only 3 days to get here.

I'll look to Ron again when I'm ready for another bike, although I plan on that being quite some time now that I have my first brand new bike.

We had a bad snow storm the night I picked it up from the freight terminal. The roads are still covered in ice. I'd never riden a bike in the snow until Yesterday. I almost took out my neighbors mail box. We don't get a whole lot of snow here. I'll put around my subdivision, breaking the motor in, and as soon as the snow melts and dries out a little, I'll take it for a real ride. I'll let everyone know what I think, but can't offer much of an opinion yet.

I have a Hyde skid plate / pipe guard on order. First chance I'm off to Turkey Bay OHV @ Land Between the Lakes or one of the local stripper pits. Until then, I'm drinking beer and staring at it in the garage.

I just picked it up a couple of hours ago. Nice looking bike. I'll post my impressions in a bit.

I put a stabilizer on it, checked the tranny, checked all the bolts, checked the tires, put gas in it, geared up, started it and...............no shifter!!!! Bummer. :o

Now I'll have to wait a few more days to see what it's like.

In business. :) Ron immediately sent it out. This machine RIPS. :D I'll have a ride report after I get a skid plate.

I got my Hyde skid plate mounted last night. What a pain. It is real heavy plastic, and I think it has to kind of flex to fit so that a nice tight fit is ensured. The skid plate itself is awesome, but I think they could use heavier hardware. Cycra handguars are on order.

My first ride will be March 8 at some old stripper pits here in SW Indiana. I'll post some pictures when my set-up is complete, then a ride report after the ride.

I think all that I NEED is the skidplate and handguards, but I'll also get some Sealsavers and radiator guards among other smaller parts in the future.
