I have a 300 cylinder I just removed. This was running strong when I took it apart. The only reason for selling is I am replacing this cylinder and head with a race ported model. Again, this was working perfectly when I took it apart. I always tear my bike down in the winter.
It is in good shape, there is a very small line on the exhaust side of the barrel. It should hone out easily but is working fine the way it is. I will hone it out before I send it, if you would like. Comes with the stock head in perfect shape.
I am looking to sell it, if you wanted the piston that goes with it I would send it as well. Easy way to try out 300 power on your 250. I would be able to ship gaskets with it was well. New cylinder Lists @ GoFasters.com for $1,131 alone. Head is $171. This listing does not include the PV assembly, but any 250 or 300 PV assembly would fit ( part numbers have been the same since 1996 ).

This would be a great way to either have a spare or if you wanted to have the option to have both a 250 and a 300 powerplant.
Nothing else would have to be changed to run the 300 aside from some jetting tweaks.
