2011 Plastics

Sorry for all the questions, we don't have a huge GasGas following in Ireland yet! Does anyone do black or red plastics/headlight for the 2011s yet? I think the new shape front would look great in black on the 2010.

Where can I pickup a bolt on front MX style number plate?

There are different colored plastics for 2010 style fenders for sure and they will work. I havent seen anything yet for the 2011's as far as front fenders. No number plate yet for the 2011's. It is supposed to be in the works!!!

I've been told the number plate from a '10 Honda CRF450R will bolt up, but I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for posting that. Does look like that may be the one to get. It's a nice looking number plate too.
Some verification on what Gas Gas is planing to run on the new models for a MX number plate would be cool. Sure I could mod one of the older style ones to work but really would like to run what all the new Gas Gas bikes will run on my 11. The race season is closing in fast.

I ordered a 2010 Honda front plate today. Curious to see how it fits. Putting it on our 2011 250.

Looks great, but won't be a direct bolt-on. There is a tapped hole in the front of the GasGas upper triple, but I believe the Honda bolts down from the top. If you're not afraid of busting out the drill and tap you could be in business. What about the bottom interface though?

I had an opportunity to fit a prototype number plate bracket kit today, with a finished product coming very shortly. The fitment was very good, and we should be seeing a white number plate kit available from http://www.gofasters.com in the very near future!

Thanks for the heads up djroggen and I take it you are talking about the 2011 GG bikes?

Yes it is intended for use with the 2011 bikes, but it should actually allow for a retrofitting of the bikes clear back to 04 and older yet. We will have to do some more testing to see how far back it will fit, but 2011 is what the kit is intended for!

Thanks. If it works we will change our 2010 over to the 2011 in the front. with a new 2011 number plate and fender; provided we can get the front fenders that is.

Has anyone replaced the rear number plate/fender assembly with a red one(2011)?
I think it would look very nice.

Good to hear and thanks for the news. How does it connect to the top triple clamp? Curious if the key for the e start will need to be relocated on e start equiped bikes.
Is this kit just to get by until the factory develops something or what they will offer?
