GG DE250/300 (2006 manual, assumes they are same thru 2012 per Glenn)
Vs. KTM 250/300XC 2011-12 & KTM 250/300XC-W 2011-12
If I got my formulas right, the attached shows how the first 3 gears on the GG are tighter spaced than KTM-XC while the remainder are spaced wider than both KTM XC and XCW.
Interesting, this might explain why I like the GG tranny so much for technical stuff AND hauling arse when it opens up.
The forum won't let me attach the source XLS, but I can email upon request to anyone who wants to fiddle with it. EG, you can change the sprockets and the overall drive ratios will recalculate.
