Hello peoples, did gasgas stop stamping the back of the cylinder jug on the newer bikes? I was taking a look for the A,B, or C stamping on my ride the other day but I couldn?t see it? My 09 shows it, but can?t see it on my 19? Maybe I?m just blind... thanks for any response.

Cylinder should be stamped on the back of the jug, towards the bottom, where it meets the cases. It can be hard to see when the cylinder is still on the bike.

To my knowledge ,A or B pistons will fit any relative low hour bike .C piston for a higher hour bike .There is only .01mm difference in sizes .There is no stamping on gas gas blocks A,B or C that I know of?????

Interesting but a difference of .001mm is not going to cause an issue .I have always used A pistons and never had a problem

Thanks guys for the responses. I took a look at that picture via link Jacobs and it looks just like the markings on my 09 250 but.....still see nothing as far as markings on my 2019? Not a big deal as I can just measure once apart. Just seems a bit strange and was wondering if they changed where they put the markings. Who knows, maybe they didn?t bother as they were going orange.

If you have 40+ hours on the original & the cylinder looks OK a B piston is probably the best choice.
