29th New England Classic Charity Trail Ride June 6 & 7, 2009 New Hampshire

I'm hoping to be up to that this year.. would it be doable on a 625? or should I really start working on my old 97 GG 250??

625 might work if you don't ride the hero sections. If you want to ride the fun stuff bring the 250. they do have a big bike ride for big dualies

Or you could put the sumo wheels on and head up to the Adirondacks with us for some asphalt action. I'm planning a route through the Catskills, into the western Adirondacks, across the park, into Vermont and south back home. No highway. Stay overnight somewhere near Lake Placid. So far looks like three maybe four guys. Your bike will be fine, you should see Craig's Buell XB9SX holy crap is that thing small!

I still can't ride off road, still healing.:( Mid June at best. I'm seriously thinking about selling my '07 GG and just getting out of it for awhile if its going to be any longer. Keep this in mind if your interested.

Glenn,,
If you do let me know.. As for the sumo wheels,, got a little yellow card in the mail.. a box is at the post office that was too big for my mail box.. should be my wheels! I'm off to go pick them up now!

Steve,

Make me an offer for everything, bike, spares, etc. I'll decide in a month.

I'll be talking to you soon,, we need to get together for a ride anyway.. and I need to stop by T&C,,
If this works here is a pic of the wheels..

Sweet!;)

What rubber is on those wheels? Pirelli Scorpion Syncs are said to work real good on street sumos and light streetfighters. Great in rain too and can handle gravel roads OK. The ones on the Buell have 4K on them and look great. I already burned up the stock Bstones on the Hyper.

I would like to try the classic but I'm not sure I can pull myself together. I just don't have any motivation lately. I did around 1600 miles on my snowmobile this year and I guess I'm just burnt. Then today my Town sends me a notice that they have a complaint that I altered the wetland on my property. I found out it was my a55whole neighbor that has been complaining about the water on his property. So I fix it and then he sells me out! Screw that! Time to start up the bike and rev the guts out of it on the lawn. Maybe a late night ride or something...

Steve, you gotta go and ride at least 1 of the 2 days. You will not be dissapointed as these guys do a fantastic job with this ride. FWIW I just got laid off from work last week:mad: but I'll be doing the Classic for sure hell or high water. Mental therapy you know....Hope to see you there:)

Dude,, that blows about the job! Hope you find something soon! I have a couple rides in the next couple weeks which will help me determine what I can do and what I cant..

Oh,, and the tank/seat look good on my buddies sxc,, he seams very happy with the extra fuel.. I just mounted my 12L up tonight.. I just didnt want that much extra weight.. at least not yet..
