450 oil pressure sensor

I managed to break my oil pressure sensor on my 2007 Gas Gas 450. The part number for it is MFS400326568. Does anyone know where I could buy one? It seems to be out of stock everywhere I look. Is there an alternative from a car or some other bike that someone is aware of? The sensor that came out of the bike has FAE 11008 0.15 40P markings on it but after contacting FAE directly I was told that they are not able to sell this sensor and it has to be bought from GasGas directly. I am from Europe(Estonia) so I would prefer to order from EU sites if possible.

Note that I have no experince with the Gasgas fourstrokes.
Here is what I would do:

Since you already have managed to get in contact with FAE, I would ask them again about the specification of the sensor. Failing that, they have a catalog here:
http://www.fae.es/files/product/pdf/catalogo-manocontactos-parte-ilustrada-37.pdf

I would guess that the marking of 0.15 means a switching pressure of 0.15 bar, as I see in their catalog that they have some sensors of that range. If one of these sensors looks like yours, the FAE catalog states the OEM numbers fro the cars that they can be used in.

I think your best option is to find a 0.15 bar sensor with the same threads and electrical connection from another vendor locally. Those are the 3 parameters that matters (the electrical connecting can of course be changed if you want to cut / alter your wiring harness).

Thank You for the reply!

I have already been through their catalog and nothing seems to fit. The problem is that engine oil flows from the pump up to the cylinder head through this sensor. Most of the sensors they offer will not work because then the cylinder head would get no oil at all. There were a couple "flow through" sensors but they had the wrong specs or thread size. I was hoping that someone has already found an alternative or knows where I could find an original part new or used.

Yes, thats the one. Even sent them a message to see if it would be possible to order one even though its not in stock. Have not got a reply from my local GG dealer either.

Thank you so much for this idea! I think this is the way I am going to solve my problem. I will post a reply with the part numbers if I manage to get it working as intended for anyone else in the future.

Ok so I think i figured out a way to fix a broken sensor. This is what I started with:

An extra banjo bolt(MFS400122570) that is used on the same oil line and a broken sensor.

The leftover part of the sensor is 8mm so I bought an M8 "long nut" and used an M8 die to cut new threads on the sensor. I also drilled a 4mm hole through the extra banjo bolt.

Now you just have to weld the nut and bolt together to create a correctly sized adapter for the broken oil sensor. This is how mine ended up.

Installed on the bike and working as intended.
