I saw this video posted on Enduro21 and thought it was pretty good.

Check out the terrain these guys had to tackle to get through the race - makes me want to ship my bike out there for next Labor Day and give it a go :D

Think I saw a couple of Gassers in there, one if the starting lineup and another one (older) creating a rooster tail in one of the stream crossings...lol.

If you don't want to listen to the guys talking, the riding starts roughly 2:30 into it.

About 50 or more Oahu riders had their bikes shipped over to Kauai and I'm sure there were some guys from Maui and probably big island there too. It was 60 miles for 60 yrs that this race has been in existence. I think it's the longest running race in the country. The fastest guy guy came in at 6hrs 12 min.. Then they said the last guy came in in over 13 hrs.. but there was someone that I think slept in the mountains so the last guy got beat out.. Here's a little more.
..gets real hairy at 5:25.. cliff off to the side for a long while and super steep.

Initial estimate that I heard was something like 15 guys finished out of around 200 or more riders.. I'll get more accurate numbers later but that's what a couple of riders said. There were 3 gas checks and the cutoff for the last gas check being around 4pm. The race started at 8:30 in the morning.

First of all, that looked like a ton of painful fun! I really like the "riders ferry" a 3-horse stock trailer:o At 3:50, looks like a Gasser sporting an early 80s XR headlight. At 7:10 the recreation of "Old Faithful" was pretty good. The bottlenecks looked like good places to nap, while the chute cleared. I would have rode shirtless(with muscular pride) 20 years ago...let's be honest, noone wants to see that now. With all the overrevving I'll bet lots of topend redos after that one. Good stuff!
