A little help please

I have searched the internet and this site. The links for "manuals" that I have found from the "sticky" have the "parts breakdown" manuals.
Can anyone point me towards a "service manual" that a tech/shop would use for my '01 250xc. Anyone have an old one they want to sell? Or let me copy and send back? Can I use one for a later model such as a '07-'10?

If I missed the link on this forum for one, please point me towards it.

I just tore up my knee this past weekend and want to use the down time to rebuild the top and bottom end. I got smoked on a straight uphill by an '88 IT 200!

I think most of this manual will work. The engines are slightly different, but fundamentally its pretty much the same stuff. I'm not sure if their is an earlier version.
