Fresh off clinching the Michigan (D14) Hare Scrambles title last weekend at Polka Dots MC in Midland, Aaron Wegner waxed the competition and put a lock on the enduro title this Sunday as well.

Wegner piloted his 2011 250 Race to the overall on the day, followed by title contenders Chris Gallt and Cody Mastin. With six firsts and a second and only seven rounds counting, there is no chance of another rider overtaking Aaron for the championship.

Riding his GasGas in a completely different style than he had used on his previous bikes, Wegner runs a gear up and uses the torque to build his speed. Murmurs in the pits were that Aaron is so smooth he looks slow, but that's obviously not the case.

To be more accurate, I should have said he does not look like he is going as fast as he is. He is obviously very fast and his talent allows him to make it look easy.
Well done Aaron.
