aftermarket mirrors

What do you guys use for mirrors on your street legal Gas Gas?

I have a 450 with an AJP clutch master cylinder, which does not allow a standard split clamp mount.
I tried a friends bar end mounts, I don't like them too many blind spots.

I use the the fold down style from the older husky d/s models. They come with a split clamp that goes around the handle bar. You need about 1 inch of room on the small part of the bar. Toy Tech (husky dealer) in Pa has them in stock about 20 bucks. Here's the part # for right side but work's either side.

They work great.

Doesn't directly answer your question, but Highway Dirt Bikes makes the best hand guard mirror combo out there bar none IMHO.

The guards are near indestructible and the mirrors are protected when folded in and provide a great field of view.

Disclaimer: I'm friends with the owner but I run this setup on many bikes as do some of my other riding buddies and they are top notch.

It doesn't have to mount to the master cylinder perch, clamp goes around handle bar.

Correct, but that puts the left mirror inboard almost 3 inches from where it should be. I ended up using doubletake mirrors, the brake side was no problem, swap out the stock split clamp. The clutch side took some mods.
I used the threaded stud with the 10mm ball supplied from double take. I chucked it in a lathe and drilled a hole through the center, then counter sunk it down about 3/4". I drilled a hole all the way through the back mount of the clutch master. I then used a 1 3/4 5mm allen head bolt to secure the supplied stud to the top of the master cylinder. You would have to see the accessories offered by doubletake to understand the type of mounts I'm referring to.
Anyways I made it work.
Thanks for the suggestions.
