I was trolling craigslist and stumbled on this beauty. The graphics are the wrong color but it looks super clean. Almost worth making the 6 hour trip to look at it. Heck if I bought this instead of a new one I could keep my 05 as a spare!!!!

I contacted him a couple weeks ago. He said it is not his, he is selling for a friend. I emailed him again with a few questions and he never replied.
 
"Selling for a friend" is never a good sign. Also the "very expensive suspension" thing is a little unnerving. If he lived closer I would have to go check it out but idk if it is worth driving 400 miles for.

"Selling for a friend" isn't always a bad thing. I've sold at least a dozen of my friends bikes for them over the years... I also did all of the maintenance along the way so I knew the bikes inside and out. Had the registered owners been selling their own bikes, the buyer would have quickly found that they didn't know much about their own bikes! I obviously can't say that this is the case with the above bike, but if they have a title and the registered owner can be available at the transaction, I wouldn't read too much into it. Some people are just not very mechanical, they just ride the thing and let someone else deal with keeping it alive, either at the dealer, or their friend's garage.
 
I wonder if it is a six days? It looks like it has the extended master cylinder but there is no skid plate? What's the consensus is it worth $3,000

rumoredly the marz 45mm on the 2011's was harsh but could be made to work. also there is the kyb swap. or you could just see how you like it. The chassis seems top notch.

I'd love to get my hands on a 2010 or 2011 200 to augment my 2012 300.

I texted the phone number in the ad and the owner responded. He said he would take $3000 for it. Says the top end has 16 hours but never told me how many hours the rest of the bike had.there are 2 other bike on here for sale that are closer to me that I am going to go after

The fork looks like the 48mm closed cartridge. 2011 was a good year for gasgas, very good bikes with almost no problems.

Let me know where in Atlanta the bike is. I could go and put eyes in it for you.
I am in NE metro area.

I am not in the market for a bike, so you don't have to worry about me snipeing you on it.
 
Looks like it's about an hour from ATL. I would pay you for your time and gas if you would go see it. I have been worried sick the guy that owns it is a little.....different and he makes me nervous about driving 7 hours to look at bike
