I was talking to my Mum the other day. She's 90 now -as a girl she could remember her father returning from the war, but he had contracted TB as many did, and died less than a year later.
Lest we forget guys.The male population was decimated after the great war,let alone TB and influenza that mowed down all in sundry.
My grandfather served in the middle east in 1916/17.
Be thankful we live in this free world.
