Just picked up a 2006 EC 200 with the Ohlins shock. Anybody have a good contact to acquire a big boy spring for it? Need a 5.8 to 6.2 preferably.

Cheers Ken

High quality product from cannon as well...

You can also check with ohlins USA to see if they have anything on the shelf.

I may be all wet here...but I believe a Ohlins spring have a code of 595 printed on the spring and then followed by the Kg? If I remember late model KX springs also used a 595 code on there springs as well, which is a crossover to a Ohlins / GG up to 2006.....

I think Jim Cook can confirm this as fact....he is still the guru..IMHO!!!

don't know about kaw spring - I don't think so... One man's perception of "fits" is sometimes different from another man's. I would go with either ohlins or cannon made for specific application.

I do believe the rating stamped on the spring is in newton meters not kg for the ohlins springs. You need to convert desired kg/nm to Nm/kg to get value you want stamped on an ohlins spring. e.g. if the ohlins spring is stamped 60 - it is probably a 6.2 kg etc. (I am guessing - it has been a long while...). Just do a google search and you can find a converter on-line.
