As I post this thread Billy Burns is on his way to Greece to represent the USA at this year's ISDE most likely unaware that he has officially wrapped up this years AMA National Enduro Series class championship in the 200A class.

A respectable 3rd place class finish in yesterday's Minnesota National Enduro has given him the class championship. Billy had to leave early, before scoring had been completed to catch his plane (a special thanks to Boomhauer who got him to Minneapolis International Airport on time.)

OK so we had a pretty good idea he had wrapped up the series class championship when he left It wasn't offcial until the results were posted early this morning.

Congratulations Billy.

congrats, but no surprise to me,there was no doubt how focused he was riding all year, including our local NETRA events, always a pleasure to talk with, even if he never waited up for me! Good Luck in Greece billy!!

Billy will be riding at 9:59 (8:00 keytime) and Steve (Speedy) will be right behind him at 10:01.

Looks like the 300 is the weapon of choice....a handfull of 250's a 200 and 125! I would have thought a few 515's would be in the line up!

Luke McNeil is the 125 GG rider. We (GoFasters) have worked with Luke on and off for the last 5 years and is very talented rider. He last road a GasGas, a rental EC125, during the Slovakian Six Days in 2005.

He is on Team USA's "high power" club team were he has been teamed up with Fred Hoess and Rory Sullivan. Their team literally has a shot at a top 5, or better, club team finish!!

BTW. Boomhauer, Getndirty and myself are Board members of that club.:D :D
Go Team Trail Riders of Houston!!!

yeah we know luke,he is a NETRA rider as well,he hasnt done many events this year, but can come out and qualify for the ISDE no problem!! our club always donates some coin to any rider from netra heading over to ISDE,I would like to give it a shot next year since its much closer to home, but figure there will be everybody and their brother trying to qualify, and I dont like changing tires

Speaking of "coin".

How come the Olympic Committee can foot the bill for 500 athletes to go to the Olympics?
But, 40 riders have to pay their own way to the ISDE.
