Bleedin brakes!!!!!!

I cocked up removing the brake pad pin from my 2005 Gasgas EC200. So I bought another caliper but for the life of me I can't bleed the front brake. I have tried everything I can think of. The brake works ok but I cant get the feel on the lever I want. Any ideas guys?

Remove caliper leaving line connected.Fit spacer between bpads.Raise caliper above master cyl and bleed as normal.Air will rise to the top and out bleeder.
If the brake light switch is not needed,biff it and fit a banjo bolt instead.

I have found that air can get trapped in the master cylinder that you can't remove through normal bleeding but .... if you can push the master cyl piston all the way in with a screw driver it will clear. The lever alone often wont fully depress the piston so the trapped air can't get out. Well it's happened to me a couple of times.

Put something on the leaver to hold it to the bar (duct tape,Velcro strap,clamp)leave it overnight.

i have had great success bleeding clutches and brakes by gravity only.
i just fill up the mc, open the bleeder at other end and and let gravity do the rest. you just have to make sure that the mc doesnt run dry or else you have to start all over.
i have found that the master cylinder can hold some air pockets so another thing to try is with the mc full of fluid, and the bleeder closed, try quickly and slightly pulling the lever. turn the bars so the mc is heading 'downhill' towards the line out of the mc. this sometimes gets the airpocket out of the mc that allows the process to start.
can the mc itself be worn and the mc isnt generating any pressure to bleed?
also, some others have had luck with the plastic plunger over the bleed nipple and shooting the fluid backward....never worked for me though.

As Gasgasdreamer says, reverse bleed it. Pressurise from the bleed nipple on the caliper. I use a medical type syringe.
Difficult to get air out of small bore lines. Good luck.

Awesome advice guys!! Back bleeding the brakes done the job. All sorted now. Which means I can go and play in the mud on Sunday! It will be my first ride in over two months due to an injury. Happy days!
