Hi all
was out for a ride yesterday when my not very old or worn front sprocket decided that it would strip half its teeth. One of the remaining teeth then instead of going in the gap between the rollers went through one of the rollers, resulting in the chain jammed up against my LTR case saver which locked up the back wheel and stopped the bike immediately. As the bike stopped I heard something crack, presently the clutch lever will not pull in at all and is locked solid, and the bike will kick over like its in neutral, however it is in about 3rd or 4th gear.
I will clean the bike up next weekend and start pulling it apart to have a look at what damage has been done.
what could have broken in the clutch or gearbox that would lock the clutch lever up and let the bike turn over while still in gear??
