Hey guys my clutch doesnt seem to be working right (jumps forward when clutch pulled in in first and kicked off) its a 2000 ec250 i am wondering is there any way of adjusting it? If i take the cover off at the end of the hydraulic cable can i adjust it there? Thanks for any advice luke

Usually, that's caused by the trans fluid you're using. The clutch plates stick together until the trans fluid heats up.

Try switching fluid brands.

+1 on trans fluid. my 03 does the same thing when its cold. i put in 0w40, helped some, but still sticks a little when cold. you may also have a little notching on your basket, which may be causing a little sticking.

thanks guys very helpful once again i will check which trans oil i have in.. also on the reservoir for my hydraulic oil the lid is plastic an slightly cracked (after an off at enduro uk weekend lol) could you tell me if these fluid lids on the clucth reservoir are suposed to be plastic as my brake one has a metal top. i have ordered on from haven trial sport which is a great site for me in the uk as they have all parts listed with parts numbers online :) thanks again for the advice! luke
