Anyone know where to get some of those plastic clutch lever bushings? GF no longer sells them?

I know Jack @ RT&T had some a year or so ago. They typically were not sold without the lever. Thats something that may be found from an industrial supplier with a little footwork.

Has anyone seen or heard from Jack in the last year or so? His website is down and the phone # was dead last time I tried it... about a year ago...

I talked to Jay at Hyde Racing who is a friend of Jacks. He is out of business, has been for awhile now. Too bad. Its scary how many small businesses are folding lately, just this week a local Deli and Blockbuster went belly up.

I think all these economic stimulus packages are bull. People need to regain confidence and start spending again, that will take time. Borrowing more or printing money will only make things worse. The money being used to stimulate will just end up sat in different bank accounts until confidence returns.

I did my bit for recovery I bought another GasGas :D

That's a good question to which I don't have an answer. Well I know why he got it but I am uncertain if he deserved it. He got it because he seems to be friends with Gordon Brown and was involved in the Northern Ireland peace process. But some commentators say he was quite biased in favour of the N.I. Republicans. Not sure how far that extended. I think Americans have always been a bit confused over Ireland and seen it over simplistically. What seemed to bypass America was the fact that the majority of Irish in N.I. wanted to be part of Britain. Most mainland Brits wanted the trouble over and were quite happy with a united Ireland it was the Northern Irish Protestant majority that didn't want it. Unfortunately people harked back too far historically when Britain did exploit Ireland but that was a long time ago and I'd question it's relevance other than as an explanation of how we got where we were. Anyway all's well that ends well.
