Clutch oem parts are not cheap but they are bulletproof. Once every 5 years maybe. Don't cheap out on cheap jap bike fibers.
+1 on the fibres, there is a huge difference in the oem fibres to Barnett or any other aftermarket clutch packs. I hate paying the premium but the others are junk in comparison
I just bought a Barnett for my new-to-me 300 so I'll find out. OEM clutch was a $450 kit and it didn't come with fibers, just the steels, springs and inner hub(for some odd reason). They may be bulletproof but around X-mas time, my wallet is not so aftermarket it is.
I believe the Barnett fibers are a bit thinner than OEM so that combined with OW-40 Amsoil might help with any clutch drag tied to stack height. The bike has low hours so I'm going to spec out what's in there first.
