Can I take a YZ125 and pull the motor and put a EC200 motor in it?

Not sure what issues would arise and if it is even possible to do without frame work and lots of welding.

Found a cheap! YZ 125 and I have the EC 200 motor I would be willing to put back together if I could have a complete extra bike.

Lots of hybrid bikes out there Kx/kdx hybrids are the most popular. Go for it

I was always told on the older bikes, the frame was a modified kx frame.. I am sure eventually you could make it work..

if you end up in texas at some point I have an 01 bare frame if you are wanting to build one....
