CRF Plastics for '01 GG EC200 or EC250?

Gents. I need some help verifying something.

I have been conversating with a gentlemen through craigslist about an 2001 EC250 I may buy as a parts bike.

According to this gentlemen, the bike had all CRF250 Plastics on it.

I have searched on here and google and the only thing I have found that verify's any of this claim is in regards to the number plates, and one thread actually said the CRF450 plate is what has been working.

Can you guys help me out with this? Is it true that you can utilize the plastics for a CRF250 on a Gas Gas?

I am about to refresh my 2000 XC200 and would like to update the plastics if possible.

I have had a CRF450X and the plastic would in NO way fit on a GasGas and look good

This is why I am careful updating a parts interchange list - unless it is someone I really trust.

One man may say "it fits" when he pounds a square peg into a round hole...
