Cross-over parts help

Hey Guys,
I'm in the process of freshening up my bike for the upcoming race season. Two parts I definitely need to fix are the rear brake pedal (tip is severely cracked) and the countershaft sprocket. I got price quotes (Canadian dollars) of $160 for the brake pedal and $50 a 13 tooth sprocket which I think is pretty high. What is the modification to fit a rear brake pedal from a KX (which year/model pedal too) and is there any countershaft sprockets that cross-over?

I'm also thinking about replacing the plastic (rear fender is toast, shrouds are cracked, same with side panels and headlight cover) but the OEM stuff is pricey. Is there any aftermarket or crossover stuff available? Thanks,

Steve

P.S. My bike is a 2001 GasGas EC200.

Only sprocket that crosses over is a TM, which saves you nothing. Get an Ironman CS, they last much longer than the Talon.

As far as the pedal I also heard a KDX pedal can be modified to fit, but I nevr tried it. Its steel so it should be easier to work with. You could also just TIG up the crack and ears, and remachine it to fit a new tip, or a non-folding Husky tip.

I thought the plastic was reasonable. Are you sure your prices are for the '01 plastic, as the '02 stuff was clearcoated and a lot more $$. '94 - '98 KX250 rear plastic is said to fit with some mods but I never tried it.

The parts guy gave me the part #'s and they're the same as in my parts fiche for an 01 EC200. I asked him if they include graphics or something because they seem rediculously high ($80 for the rear fender, $115 for each shroud, $60 each for side number plates).

The '01 had clearcoated plastic as well. It looks great at first, but doesn't "age" well...

I have a spare brake pedal I can send your way - check your PMs.

PM sent. I can't believe some of the GasGas prices. Usually they're so good!

Speedy, the prices you were quoted were including graphics. If you order the plain, non-graphic version they are very inexpensive, even compared with aftermarket.

I just sold a new leftside rad shroud for an '06 with graphics for $76.95CDN . I am not sure where you got prices from.

My dealer said he can only get me the plastics with graphics which is why the prices were so high. Seems weird that every other GasGas dealer in the country can get the plastics without graphics but they can't.
