"Riders for Health Dual Sport Scavenger Hunt"
Save August 10-12 for a weekend of camping, camaraderie, off-pavement exploration, and sleuthing, as we raise money for Riders for Health. We'll be based at Cove RV Park in Brinnon, Washington, fanning out Saturday morning to collect digital images of scavenger clues around the surrounding rural and primitive roads. Puzzle solving, creative thinking, along with minor navigation will be required, as we assemble our trove of clues to compete for prizes that evening. http://www.coverv.com/ The Olympic National Forest has remarkable dual sport riding, and Hood Canal is a perfect setting for fun.
Directions to Cove RV Park: http://goo.gl/maps/eTOv( 37 miles from Kingston, WA)
This weekend we'll camp two nights at Cove RV Park, and Saturday night enjoy a potluck and camaraderie. Clues will be tallied and prizes awarded. Riding videos will be shown, along with a slideshow of entertaining images from that day's hunt.

Riders for Health is a worldwide organization that funds transportation infrastructure in rural Africa, enabling health workers to reach remote villages and small populations who can not travel to health clinics. http://www.riders.org/us/default.aspx It is a truly life and culture changing organization making a true difference in the lives of people. Many racing riders such as those in Moto GP and World Superbike participate in supporting this organization. Ride West BMW and Dave Preston in particular have long been supporters of Riders for Health with fund-raising day rides.
Update: 7/6/2012- It's all coming together so far, Cove RV Country story has full amenities/groceries(they have purchased a huge fire ring for our enjoyment in Group/Cabana, there is a very large grill and cooking area for our potluck dinner Saturday the 11th)
3 routes are being drawn up for your riding pleasure, if you don't want to hunt and just want to ride that's cool too!
Hope to see you there!
